About Namco American Motor CO

The North American Motor Co (Namco) have been operating from it’s Art Deco garage and workshops in Farnborough, Hampshire since 2001. In November 2022, we moved to larger premises near Camberley, Surrey.

Founded by Billy Roe, a long time Hot Rod and American Car enthusiast who cut his teeth (and lost a finger but that apparantly had nothing to do with cars, but thats another story) on all things automotive.

Having worked on American Cars for well over 30 years, Billy and the team have built up a wealth of experience and expert knowledge of working on a whole variety of American cars including service, repair and modifications on Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, Chrysler, Pontiac, Studebaker, GMC, Nash, Buick, Cadillac, Willys, Dodge and Lincoln amongst others.

Currently Namco is a team of 5 like minded mechanical engineers and the workshop facilities offer 3 ramps, an engine building room and an extensive project area complete with chassis jig.  Additionally the parts shop offers a full line of performance and OEM American car and truck parts. If you need a specific part do contact us as we are also often importing many parts from leading manufactureres in the USA.

The North American guys helped us out at this years Hot Rod Hayride, when we had trouble with our car (welding was needed for a broken bracket).
